This was a fun trip to Soggy Dry lake and Cougar Buttes to show Geoff's nephew around. BIll blew a tire off the rim, and broke a rear main leaf spring. Geoff cut a hydraulic steering line and had to bring his trailer to the Jeep.

Jeff, Mark, and Bill made a run to Calico. The weather was perfect, and Bill's new drive shaft and shifter cable worked perfectly too! No carnage, just a fun low key day.

Mark and Bill took a Friday trip to Big Bear and ran Gold Mountain and John Bull. Bill's daughter Sarah and her boyfriend Jeremy, from Australia, joined the fun!

An impromptu trip to Calico for Bill, Marcia, and Sarah and Jeff and Tommy. The goal was to find the elusive entrance to Scrambler Canyon, and it was a success. We'll be running that canyon next season. We stopped for lunch at the Wall Street Overlook. Beautiful scenery.

Jeff, Geoff and Bill ran Jack, Upper sledge from the mailbox, Big Johnson, Upper Big Johnson, down Boulderdash, played on Tack, the sand dune and Geoff ran upper Sledge above the bailout. It was a great day!

Geoff, Jeff and Bill went to see the Fry Mountain trails. Started at Ballerina Rock where all three "tried" it. Ran Crowbar, skipped over to Shaft where Geoff ran the hard line both down and back up. This was a fun day.

A long day spent on Sledgehammer. Jeff made it up the plaque obstacle unaided! Then he broke his front driveshaft just past the plaque and had to be winched the rest of the way out. (Now he carries a spare)

A great snow run to Cleghorn. Had a little rain while towing, and it was snowing a little while we unloaded the Jeeps. Lots of new snow and snow falling while wheeling, and very cold, about 20 degrees up at the top at 5300 feet. Bill's distributor failed on the way back, and Jeff had to tow him with a strap for about 8 miles back to the trailers.

A great trip out to TH with invited friends John Sarkaria and Randy and his white JK and two little girls. A great time was had by all. Jeff was still recovering from a broken shoulder, so he co-drove John's little red Jeep.

This was Mark's first trip in RJ after purchase. It was a very good shakedown run. RJ proved to be a capeable wheeler with only a few minor problems.

Dan and Bill took a day trip to Big Bear to run John Bull backwards and forwards. Geoff rode along, since his Jeep is still under repair, and he spotted and drove Bill's Scrambler too! It was a nice outing! Bill was the photographer, so there are no pictures of him and the Scrambler with the exception of one screen shot from video...

A fun trip that ended with the most carnage ever and the most difficult extraction we've ever done... Attempting Gatekeeper, the major carnage obstacle, Geoff broke his rear pinion which froze up the rear end, then broke both front axle shafts trying to drag himself out. Then the steering broke. Ended up pulling the carrier out of the rear axle and removing the broken pinion and putting it all back together. Then winched and towed him, with no steering, to the trailer. Took a short cut and got accosted by a ranger... Why are you here? Why are you here? Didn't get home until 1 am...

Geoff, Jeff, Bill and guest Brig enjoyed a short day at Cougar Buttes. The day was "called" early when a large crack was discovered in Jeff's frame. It was a fun trip, and we all agreed we need to explore Cougar Buttes more. It's a fun place to go.

We ran Lower Big Johnson, Claw Hammer, Fisure Mountain, Ran Sledgehammer backwards from the "escape" to the mailbox, and a quick run through Tack Hammer. Bill's radiator sprung a leak, ending his day early...

We're going to have to go back to Stoddard. Dan broke an axle right away and then we only found Pumpkin Eater by accident at the end of the day. Only Geoff got to run down, up and back down again. (And broke a rear axle in the process.)

We made a quick trip to Cleghorn- hoping to find snow. It turned out to be one of our favorite day trips ever. Snow is fun and unique for us So. Cal. desert wheelers.
